Biography

Sulaimon Adio Oladele Oyeneye, popularly known as Atawewe, hails from Idi-Oro, Mushin. He began his music journey at age 5, eventually going professional in 1983. Atawewe’s career took him from Ikorodu to Lagos Island, where he thrived. With over 14 albums to his name, He’s a respected Fuji artist, having won many awards both in Nigeria and abroad. His nickname, “Etu” or Kingmaker, reflects his prominent status in the Fuji world. Atawewe stands as one of Nigeria’s top Fuji stars.
